Snoring Cures and Remedies - Find Out Why People Snore!
By Peter Jun
Why should anyone spend time to learn about snoring cures or the reasons as to why people snore?
Well, between 30% to 50% of people are snorers according to Wikipedia - so, even if you are not a snorer, someone you know is likely to be one.
You should also realise that the snorer may experience serious medical conditions since he or she does not get adequate rest as a result of disturbed sleeping patterns.
By reading this article, you will gain a better understanding as to why people snore and thus able to seek the most appropriate snoring cures and remedies for those you know and care for.
First thing to know is that the annoying sounds are mainly the result of vibrations of soft tissues located at the back of our throats and mouth.
This is typically due to one of the following conditions:
1. Nasal airways that are clogged (a main reason why peoplesnore).
2. Weakened throat muscletones.
3. Long tongue and soft palate in the back of themouth.
4. Swollen throat and nosetissue.
5. Enlarged neck and excess soft tissue in the trachea (signs ofobesity).
Since we know why people snore and typical conditions that lead to it, we are therefore in a much better position to identify specific snoring cures and remedial actions as follow:
1. Use nasal strips if the blocked nasal airways are not due to cold orflu.
2. Use pillows to elevate the snorer's head so that the air passages are not narrowed by throat muscles that are toorelaxed.
3. Sleep on the side so that the tongue and soft palate do not fall back and block the air passages (one of the most effective snoring cures and treatmentmethods).
4. Use anti-snoring pills (natural plant enzymes and herbs) to prevent and reduce swelling of the throat and nosetissue.
5. Lose weight (i.e. exercise more and reduce food intake) to reduce the size of neck and eliminate excess soft tissue in thetrachea.
In summary, this approach requires you to find out the conditions and reasons as to why people snore and from there, determine the most appropriate set of snoring cures and remedies.
